Artifact collaborated with Fourth and One Productions to propose a series of short spots for Nickelodeon Preschool. The spots, for Nick’s Black History Month campaign, would feature important innovators in black history, such as astronaut Dr. Mae Jemison, inventor Elijah McCoy, and tap dancer Savion Glover. The concept of the proposal revolved around pairing each animated historical figure with live-action kids, in an animated background. Illustrations were provided by Jamar Nicholas.
